Disney has purchased the former Yamaha Motor headquarters in Cypress, California for $115.29 million.
📍 The property spans roughly 25 acres and includes office, warehouse, and industrial buildings across an entire city block.
🏗️ Yamaha has occupied the campus since 1979 but is relocating its headquarters to Georgia. The company is expected to fully vacate the site by 2028.
🎢 The property is located less than 7 miles from Disneyland Resort.
Disney has said the site will support “back-of-house operations,” but has not provided additional details on how the campus will ultimately be used.
What makes this interesting from a CRE standpoint is the combination of scale, location, and flexibility. A 25-acre infill campus this close to Disneyland gives Disney a lot of options, whether for operations, storage, logistics, offices, or future redevelopment.
