The Town of Apex has sued a private property owner over an illegal student parking lot, with the town seeking $3,700 in violation fees plus $100 per day in additional penalties. ⚖️

📍 The bigger issue: the school currently has 556 student parking spaces, with roughly 100 students on the waitlist.

🏗️ The property is zoned Rural Residential, where student parking isn’t permitted under Apex’s UDO.
